No way this is an isolated case, IMO.
insane local news just dropped. i've lived in a part of KC for ~decade and it's been an inside joke with friends and service workers that the local biz/party district is ran by a cartel of biz owners who bully out new ventures and replace them with generic dive bars for white suburbanites.

Right now is the time to support primaries for any do-nothing Ds. We've got an incredible chance to win a bunch of seats in 2026. Let's fill them with fighters, not chumps.
What sticks out to me is how absolutely unafraid of prosecution this psychopath is. Part of it is narcissistic personality disorder, but it's mostly the perceived weakness of Democrats. Should they retake power, no one expects Democrats to hold anyone accountable.

Communication is key!
While it may not feel great, telling your team you forsee being late on a deadline ASAP is HUGE for making everyone's life easier. Tasks can be juggled around, others may be able to pick up the slack.
But none of that can happen if you don't communicate.

Yesterday my partner and I counted all the ads along Chicago's Brown Line for "Friend," a company selling an AI chatbot pendant, and tallied how many of those ads were defaced.
Still working on a longer piece on this, but here's the quick and dirty: we counted 104 "Friend" ads total, 42 defaced.

Sure, the red line ran late, made me miss the commuter rail home, and left me stranded for an hour while I waited for the next one but at least I got to look like a stock photo of a hacker in the meantime?
