When my town was trying to become a transition town (off oil) in 2010 we did this - the preppers were challenged to hoard less & belong more

I also didn't dream that ordinary adults would still cling to petty hipster hierarchies
I've been searching for communities to move to and so many are as self-congratulatory as the US administration while requiring you to have a certain image to belong
