I have other requests thru ChartSwap. They charge a $10 fee for receiving payment via check. If you request records for digital download rather than snail mail, you must pay 2 invoices, an immediate one for submitting the digital download request, & then the invoice for the actual records later

I have an invoice from Healthmark Group for medical records with a notarized affidavit certifying their accuracy. They want $165.94 for 38 pages & 2 notary stamps. They are charging the maximum allowed amount for remote notary fees ($35 each) and $15 per affidavit on top of that. $100 for 2 pages

If you need a radicalizing activity, try to get medical and billing records from a hospital 🙃

“Healthcare” in America sucks. I’ve been up with a uti for 4 hrs, the closest 24 hr clinic is an ER that will admit me & bill accordingly, or an urgent care twice as far away. My insurance doesn’t cover “after hours” visits with them tho, so it would be $119 + $50 copay 🙃 for a $10 antibiotic Rx

How much Elon Musk makes from the government a day: $8 million.

How much a senior on Social Security gets a day: $65

Note: In 2024 alone, Musk’s enterprises were awarded approximately $3 billion across nearly 100 federal contracts, averaging about $8 million per day.

When TB treatment is interrupted, patients are far more likely to develop drug-resistant TB, which is a catastrophe both individually (the disease becomes harder to cure) and societally (we're allowing the bacteria millions of new opportunities to develop further resistance). Many people will die.

Just received this photo from a friend of a warehouse in Kinshasa. These are tuberculosis medications--ALREADY PAID FOR--that aren't being distributed due to the Trump Administration's stop work order.
TB treatment is being interrupted in SO many patients around the world. What does that mean? (1/2)

I know it’s hard to keep up with “other news” amid the chaos we’re facing, but your health matters—you need to be here for the rebuilding of America. Microplastics are a growing threat, impacting our bodies in ways we’re only beginning to understand. Stay informed, stay strong! #Health
The human body is widely contaminated by microplastics. They have also been found in blood, semen, breast milk, placentas and bone marrow.

The impact on human health is largely unknown, but they have been linked to strokes and heart attacks.

It's so embarrassing to be rich and not happy. If I had $200 billion I wouldn't be trying to impress Joe Rogan with my tough boy talk, I'd be jousting on jet skis, I'd be paying church choirs to sing dirty words, I'd buy one of the really big Lego sets. Being an angry rich guy is so cringe.

Why aren’t we looking into corporate welfare? In the United States, it costs taxpayers billions each year, with estimates ranging from $92 billion to $100 billion annually. Meanwhile, USAID costs only $40 billion. Hmmm… doesn’t add up.

Elon Musk’s companies—Tesla and SpaceX—have received billions in government contracts and subsidies. Yet, this issue is largely ignored. Isn’t it time we started holding corporations accountable for the massive burden they place on taxpayers?

Yay!! Our nation has state media!!

State-run media is a key #fascist trait, allowing #authoritarian control over information, suppression of dissent, and manipulation of public perception. #Fascist regimes own or heavily censor media to align with state propaganda.

That last bit again.
NBC News is being kicked out of its space in the Pentagon and replaced by OANN.

Auschwitz was at the end of a long process. It did not start from gas chambers.

This hatred was gradually developed by humans. From ideas, words, stereotypes & prejudice through legal exclusion, dehumanization & escalating violence... to systematic and industrial murder.

Auschwitz took time.

Biggest takeaway: Sen. Slotkin asked if Hegseth would stand in the breach against unconstitutional orders from a commander in chief. Hegseth dodged, saying, "I reject the premise that President Trump is going to be giving illegal orders," refusing to commit to stopping illegal actions.
