for context, I understand that my role as a "writer" nominally positions me in the same political class, at least contextually, as the petit bourgeois artisan. the distinction is, of course, political-economic; I've made, over the course of my ~6 year writing career, probably around $1000.

The international proletariat are the revolutionary class in the historical era of imperialist capitalism. Not the petit-bourgeois artisan class, who are not my allies and with whom I do not share class interests. I stand with proletarianized artists, as a proletarian.
