Insulin junkie, reformed CISO now getting to talk about cool stuff. Formerly syntaxerr66 on that "other" platform :D. This is for fun only and anything I say does not represent my employer, though they're pretty damn cool.

But the really important question is: are people who approve of this being made to feel uncomfortable saying so?
I hope people realize that Trump is trying to make it illegal to criticize his regime.

They are trying to give themselves the ability to spy on, target, and arrest anyone who criticizes them. They want to end freedom of speech in America.

Let’s be clear about what they’re doing.

I've got my led strips hooked up to the stereo in my office to make it reactive with music for some cool lighting. The streaming box lost its configuration last night. I walked into my office to see this. I'm a little creeped out. If it starts telling me it can't let me do things, I'm unplugging it.

Nothing to worry about here, just a political purge of our national security apparatus that will replace long-serving experts with dimwitted bootlickers.

I'm sure our safety and security won't be impacted at all.

Happening in North Carolina right now: A Republican who just lost a state supreme court election is using a horseshit legal theory cooked up by Republican activists to ask the Republican majority *on the same court he wants to join* to overturn his loss and make him a justice anyway
Republicans Do Not Think People Are Entitled to Elections Anymore
In North Carolina, Republican state supreme court justices will soon decide whether to overturn an election to seat a Republican who lost it.

Ahh Texas. This is probably the only part of working downtown I miss. My first job in Texas gave me a perfect view of the Mixmaster in Dallas, and it was entertaining watching people with 4wd vehicles try to get up ramps covered in ice.
