the only good thing about genAI is that it got me to really love seeing bad art, because I know a person put in time and effort, made themselves vulnerable by showing it to others, and is trying to improve. I value that more than anything now

I’m glad my friends who attended Twitch Con this year had a safe time, but none of the news coming out of the event is shocking. Creators on the platform are treated as products, never people. If you impede on the company in any fashion of course you’re going to get treated poorly.
