I’ve been kinda wrapping up as I prepare to go on mat leave and my most proud moment was yesterday when I got to inbox 3 (bc I needed to deal with those 3 things today). Sorted every single client email into their folder. This has taken WEEKS of time. Go me !!!! 👻👻

I had no fewer than 5 mental breakdowns this week but it’s Friday, I’ve deleted my mail and Google voice apps for good measure, I exercised when I got home even tho I didn’t want to, Mondays my birthday, and it’s ALL GONNA BE OKAY 🫡

Walt is limping badly and the emergency vet didn’t find anything in any scans or bloodwork on Wednesday but surely he isn’t limping for no reason?! 😭 poor bb boy. he’s on gabapentin rn which seems to help some but he’s also got some hot spots & bruises, & isn’t walking much and isn’t eating well.

one of my clients just got the most chaotic voicemail. Walt started barking because he hates when I talk to someone he can’t see (😂🫡) so he barks at me and then I thought I heard client pick up so I’m like “oh hello?” no he actually didn’t pick up so I just keep leaving the voicemail … smh 😂😅

in like 2014/2015 I was exporting and importing my iTunes library and lost 90% of it and I still think about that library to this day . May she RIP

yesterday I got a case dismissed based on lack of efforts to serve a probation violation affidavit and warrant for an extended period of time and the kicker is client wasn’t even there 😂🫡💃🏼🎉

I literally can’t watch this fight for 2 reasons. 1) Netflix is absolutely shitting the bed even though they had no reason NOT to know what traffic would look like and also 2) every time they zoom in on her eyebrow, I feel physically SICK 😭

I start my public defense job on Monday n I have a lot of feelings but mostly excitement to be in the specific office I’m in. They’ve done so much to give attorneys the best mental health resources as possible and it just makes me feel optimistic and good.
