Household 4-foots & bonus cat sitting kitties!

A very rainy, early, PNW morning.

We went to a corn maze last night. 😁

From this morning. The first big flash of fall.

Drop a mobster
Paulina Novacek from the movie "Undercover Blues" (an under-appreciated silly flick with an amazing cast). The character is played by Fiona Shaw. The image is of the character in a lush office setting, in a tailored matching top and pants, gesturing broadly with arms spread wide and grinning big. Her ginger hair is piled somewhat messily in a side bun. Her makeup is done perfectly, though the bright red lipstick clashes with her dark green outfit and her hair (this is part of the gag about the character throughout the film).

A pretty plant on the morning dog walk. The pods looked like leaves at first, then I noticed the yellow flowers.

Took the doggo to the larger off leash park (bit of a drive away from us, but worth it). All the sniffs! Then she found a great patch of grass for rolling.
Small, black, scruffy terrier mutt with a red collar lying down in flattened long green grass. She is looking to the left with mouth open in a grin, tongue slightly lolling, and head tilted a little. Her ears are half-flopped but showing attention/half-perked, tail is slightly blurry from wagging.

This morning's walk.
Neighborhood street, no sidewalk, road sign with "Bump" on it next to a low speed bump. Low key dramatic morning clouds at top of frame, trees silhouetted, a light pole with interesting power & communications lines branching from it. A blue house is tucked behind some conical bushes. Rocky incline with switchback stairs leads to a blue house on a rise. Landscaped bushes, ferns, and smaller trees are tucked into the rock wall.

Some pictures from a P-Patch in Seattle from yesterday. (Community garden with individual plots.)
Some sort of skinny wasp on a pastel pink garlic bloom, large squash leaves in the background. A wooden half height gate to the garden, there is an arbor over the gate that is covered in a prolific vine, very green and leafy. A homemade birdhouse. Painted red with a metal roof a wooden walls and a small hole for bird entrance. Perched on an overturned cauldron, balanced on stones. Wild strawberry runners are amongst the rocks at its base. There is a trained apple tree fence in the background. A mulched hill path, bordered on the right by various plantings, and on the left by a series of apple trees trained into grapevine like trellising to make a three row "fence" of branches. All the branches are lushly green leafed and some smaller, unripe apples can be seen on the lower branches.

Another Friday greenery. Some aspens behind a leafy hedge.

Went to a local botanical garden. Alas, my good camera battery was mysteriously dead, so it turned into a scouting mission for tomorrow (battery is now on charger). So instead, some quick cell phone pics!

Random deer in my apartment building's parking lot. (I'm in the middle of a large city. Quite unexpected that morning.)

Yesterday, friends and I went on a recently opened "Railcycle" near Mt. Rainier/Tahoma.
