A vastly underappreciated trauma recovery skill is time management. Regulating emotions & making recovery supporting choices is extremely hard if our daily & hourly schedule feels chaotic, makes us feel pressured & trapped, and/or doesn't support our big picture goals & values.

Trauma survivors can be super sensitive to or triggered by people, organizations, or systems trying to make decisions for us, "for our own good." Trauma compromises our experience of agency. True recovery is the long term process of reclaiming, developing, & flexing our autonomy.
