My point is that women are making impactful social progress, but that only carries into economics until the lines intersect. Then both continue down, which is way more impactful for QoL. So saying "women are doing better and men are doing worse" is only true in a misleadingly limited way.

When Disney wanted a character in a similar style to look ethnically "Chinese" (billion person country), they gave him an upturned nose and no facial definition anywhere near his eyes. It's caricature. It's affectionate caricature, they love the character, but it's caricature

The X-Men work great as a disability metaphor precisely because of the vast difference between Storm and Rogue. It is, in fact, galling to hear someone self-describe as neurospicy and have to recognize that they are under the same oppression system as you, in the same role. The key is solidarity.

Ace Attorney is obviously awesome just looking at it, right. But the opening scene of the first game is the death of this woman. I'm sorry, we're not on the same page about what characters you should keep around in your franchise. This is a basically unforgivable step one fumble
