Can you even -imagine- a world that still had Phil Hartman? All my respect for the difficulty of anyone’s personal loss, but can you imagine how brilliant he would have been, comically, in his 60s and 70s?

Some major news publication really needs to run a front page article that aggregates all the recent Republican politicians busted for CSAM and other sex crimes. The constant trickle of these stories does not hit home the pathology — that pipe needs to burst.

Is it safe to say that DV's Dune films have already been memory-holed? It feels less a circumstance of their quality and more of the times, but I cannot for the life of me imagine that anyone will remember them better than Lynch's film, or even the books. The second film was practically an illusion.
