NOAA is a vital public asset that should never be privatized. #KeeptheDogeKidsAway
Losing NOAA would be devastating. Project 2025 authors want to get rid of it because it monitors climate change, and privatize the information it currently provides for free, so you'll have to buy information about the weather and the winds (imperative for mariners).

This is absolutely batshit crazy. It's infuriating... Weather information is SO important. NOAA weather warnings are life saving, from North Carolina to California to New Jersey to Florida, etc.

Wherever you live in North Carolina, Trump’s action matters. Hundreds of water systems in the state were found to have elevated levels of PFAS in 2024. It’s estimated that nearly half of the nation’s tap water has PFAS in it.

Trump just pulled back a plan to regulate toxic, cancer-causing PFAS. It’s in hundreds of water systems in North Carolina.
PFAS, or “forever chemicals," are linked to cancer, birth abnormalities, and other health ailments. But Trump is pushing back a long-awaited plan to set federal limits on them.
