Trying to make something on the sewing machine, but Swizzels seems to know more about it than me. She is just so much help....

We went to Samphire Hoe today. We took Swizzels & Waffle as well. Swizzels decided it was cold enough to need a snood.

For some reason, our other ferrets were not very welcoming to Swizzels, & while we spent huge amounts of time with her, we knew she needed a "fuzzy" friend. We got Waffle, & they hit it off straight away. Since then, most of the others have come round, but these 2 are a formidable pair.

We had Poppet who would climb up the back of the tumble dryer, squeeze between its top & the bottom of the surface, then pinch a gravy bone & get back down. The only clue was the knocked over box until we caught her red pawed.

We took this video off of our CCTV of Hershey, Swizzels & their friend the Magpie playing in the garden. It happens most days, the Magpie comes to the French windows, calling out for them.

This is Fuse, he's 5 1/2 & a real little monster. 1 1/2 years ago he was very ill, & it seemed like we would have to make a very hard decision. Luckily after a few scary days & a lot of money he pulled round. He is on some pretty funky tablets, & has had the odd relapse, but what a stunner he is.💕💗

Anyone tried these lens wipes?

I find they seem to have rather sharp bits when you try to get them out of the box.

2010, first frost of winter. An amazing ferret called Munchie, loved to go on a walk, walking for miles, & if he got tired, or his feet got cold, he would climb up onto my shoulders to warm up & still be able to see the world. He loved being as high as possible, even sitting on my hat sometimes.

We went out this morning, and as I pondered around, I had the realisation that I'd left the latch hook kit in Nalas reach and expected the worst. But I had to take it back when it was untouched. Photos of Nala enjoying rather ahem free mince pies acquired.

Little miss Treacle/Shadow/Sprinkles (not decided yet) helped me do a deep clean & re-arrange the run today. Totally fearless, even helped me use the drill, but filling the water trough was the best bit...
