If you're visiting Amsterdam and love architecture a visit to the Het Schip museum is a must.
Michel de Klerk designed 'Het Schip' with orange-red Groningen bricks and used more than twenty different types of brickwork patterns.

He believed that workers' houses deserved to be beautiful.

Roman bronze dragon’s head standard, AD 190-260.

Originally mounted on a pole, with a long fabric tube attached to the back of the head. When charging on horseback, the wind inflated the tube and the dragon shrieked!

✨Deerhurst, Gloucestershire. A kitchen in the nave and a bedroom in the chancel hid within plain sight an Anglo-Saxon chapel built by Earl Odda (a relation to Edward the Confessor). Re-discovered in 1865, it is the most complete surviving Saxon church in England. #thread

Great article summarising what it's like to be autistic (and why seeking a cure for Donald Trump and right-wing politics) is far far more important than seeking a 'cure' for autism.
Autistic people could teach Donald Trump a thing or two about focus, facts and empathy | Rhiannon Lucy Cosslett
While not without its challenges, autism isn’t a curse to be cured of, as the likes of the President and RFK Jr want us to believe, says Guardian columnist Rhiannon Lucy Cosslett
