I just found out about the Studio Proteus panel earlier today and a couple hrs ago realized it was for a Hall of Fame award. I'm so happy to see that Toren's blood sweat and tears is being recognized. He was really dedicated to his craft & doing right by the mangaka and everyone who worked for him.

First assignment of Chinese Calligraphy: Horse class is...draw a horse. Not super happy with how it came out. I thought the reference drawing was kinda odd. My interpretation made it odder. But I did have fun sculpting it out from some other reference.

I got the monthly "Book" from the calligraphy school I'm enrolled in in Japan. I can't read it at all, but I've been told that I leveled up!
The stuff at the bottom is the lesson for March.
I've also been told that if I do the annual test, I'll likely level up at a faster rate. So we'll see.

I've been superbusy with dayjob work and haven't had time to properly practice this month's lesson.
Using ink, I have to spend 30min cleaning the brush.
I'm happy that I can spontaneously put in a little practice with the magic cloth & water. It's not ideal, but s'okay.
