Fun new way to find out if your immune system is working properly
When I was a little kid, I told my family that I’ll know I’m a grownup when I have a red car. I wanted to say pink bike but I didn’t want anyone to tell me that was a silly dream to have. I feel like I became a grownup when I realized I didn’t want to drive a car, I wanted the freedom not to.

Fairly recently had the opportunity to bike up hills I used to walk, run, and bike up as a kid/young adult, but this time with a committee made up of City Staff, community advocacy groups, and community members. It was like very little had changed even though things had supposedly changed? Agreed!
It’s wild to bike on the same streets as you did as a kid and think about how different things might be now if #KidicalMassHfx existed 30 years ago.
It’s eye-opening to see ~150 people on bikes trying to get across 6 lanes of Robie St.
It’s heartwarming to see so much BikeHfx community show up!
