Also, these classes are usually in the late afternoon and evening, at least in Edinburgh. Most children won’t be in school at that time. The council itself must be racist enough to push that through.

My kids do it this way. Especially the closing part. It takes them ages. They do it in the hope to get out of the task and to never have to fill the dishwasher again. Looks like the same is happening here…

Totally totally agree. I also disliked the fact that she’s always acting as if being a Kiwi makes her naturally innocent. Does she not know her own history? Oh and don’t start me on her going to Myanmar apparently totally unprepared when she used to work for diplomatic services.

When we moved to Canada 3 years ago, I experienced quite a culture shock seeing how easily people here hand out their private information to commercial businesses. It’s still not normal for me especially since many shops here want your phone number not email address.

A friend’s dad was a well known plastic surgeon in 90s Germany. He offered gender affirming surgeries for transgender people, mostly pro-bono since no health insurance would cover it. None of the institutions he worked for ever acknowledged this in all the honours he received from them. That’s why
