@mta.info shout out to the conductor on the downtown 1 pulling into 72nd street at about 9:05am today who offered - “2 minutes til the 3” so those of us considering the transfer knew our option! I wish all conductors did this!!

we have all gotten the memo about focusing on Trump admin's real impact on regular people rather than on institutions so let me just say that the level of dysfunction, belligerence, and disregard for basic security protocol here will absolutely get a large number of people killed in short order

Yesterday, the NLRB’s Buffalo office (Region 3) received word from its landlord that GSA—acting on behalf of DOGE—had unilaterally cancelled the Region’s five-year lease, without any prior notice to the Agency. The Region has been given 90 days to vacate the building.

Late last night, with about 15 minutes notice to the Union, the NLRB’s HR sent an email adopting the terms of the forked-up resignation scam. HR also provided us a contract that appears to be drafted by AI or LegalZoom. As labor lawyers, we’re happy to go over this in detail. 🧵
