It’s called “Constellation” but I see lots of individual eyelashes. It’s the ‘eye of the world’ to me.

Time to taste a new to me recipe! A no bake, hot summer dessert: key lime tiramisu. www.thekitchn.com/key-lime-tir...

Tossed my earrings on the end table. They are telling me to, “GO.” Is the universe saying, “Seek shelter, bad storm!” or, “Book that vacation you’ve been thinking about for weeks!”

To celebrate @uminnpress.bsky.social centennial year, UMN Libraries’ Anderson Library has an exhibit about our 100 year history. One of my favorite displays is the James Beard medal next to the cookbook that it was awarded for, The Sioux Chef’s Indigenous Kitchen.

I received these lip masks in a gift bag, and y’all, it feels weird. Cold and clammy.

As we were cleaning this weekend, Mr pulled this little gem off the shelf, published in 2017. “If a dissident movement is to acquire momentum, the democratic Left must also identify more young leaders in multiple settings who are charismatic in democratic ways and can inspire large constituencies.”

“From now to ASAP.” It was so ASAP that we didn’t even notice that water was turned off.

Here’s a photo. It’s more concentrated, but does brighten the whole space. (ignore the gray couch, it’s not usually in this picture, we are in the process of rearranging furniture—our weekend project.)

As Mr and I head to a Christmas Market I’m reminded of my favorite ornament that he’s given me over the years. A baker’s ornament.

The delicious aroma of fresh baked pumpkin pie is making me impatient for dinner. The pie needs to rest. And! I have to roast a turkey. Pie is my very favorite part of the Thanksgiving meal. My offering for Secular Pie Thursday.

Today I met a delightful artist named Charlie. When I asked if he’s local, he shared some of his meandering journey back and forth between the US, the Caribbean, and France. His art is whimsical and colorful. I chose an abstract piece because I adore dots.
