Watching Silent Witness from Episode 1 with Amanda Burton . Had totally forgotten it was originally set in my old stamping ground of Cambridge now comes across as period drama but v good no gimmicks and excellent actors . Should get me to spring at least 😃

Watching Panorama on weight loss . Prediabetic but didn’t qualify for Ozempic and chums Wegovy and Mounjaro - not obese - so had to stick to low carb diet. Three months nine pounds lighter which is good but was pretty fit anyway . Celebrated Monday with crisps and beer ( now pretty much verboten) 😃

Watching Jimmy Carter’s funeral - I was very young when he was President he came to one of the most depressed parts of Newcastle to amazing scenes. Great man. Damn glad Trump isn’t President yet to lord it over the proceedings

Just in from mammoth interview session to two bits of news. One that a DV perp got locked up because of something I did and that a vulnerable constituent had a a massive wrongful debt written off after our intervention. This is why I came to politics, this is why I'll just keep cracking on.

Spent almost two hours enjoying 7:39 on iplayer realised just 10 minutes from end had already seen it in 2014 when first screened . Then as now I thought he should have stayed with Sheridan Smith not boring suburbia . But they always do

Labour ⬇️ to 36% & Reform ⬆️ to 13% is bad news. The Greens credible vote of 12% suggests Labour may also be losing votes to our left flank.
