Mainstream Media: Where is the coverage of this weather disaster in Alaska (you know, the 50th state)?
NEW: There’s a disaster unfolding in Alaska right now. And no major network is covering it.

The remnants of Typhoon Halong battered western Alaska overnight. Homes, with people in them, have literally been swept into the Bering Strait.

At least 20 are missing. No comment from any federal agency.

Artem Morozov hoped that the war in Ukraine would end on his 16th birthday, when President Trump welcomed Russian President Vladimir Putin in Alaska.

Instead, Russia killed Artem and his entire family.
He hoped Trump’s summit would bring peace. Russia killed him and his family.

Commuters and tourists leaving D.C.’s Union Station this week stepped out to an unusual scene: two armored trucks and a dozen or so National Guard troops clad in camouflage, milling about in the summer heat.
National Guard troops are in D.C. We went to see what they’re up to.
There are nearly 2,000 National Guard members in the District. They’ve been deployed to areas including the National Mall, Nationals Park and Metro stations.
