Theo Bovens is not the leader of the CDA, but the leader of the CDA House Membership Group. The leader of the party is Henri Bontenbal, but he is busy with coalition talks to form a new government after recent elections

Data centers are also usually put somewhere close to where the data is used, to make that communication easier. But this datacenter will have a tiny thing blocking communications sometimes... the entire Earth. Unless you put it in geostationary orbit, in which case it has lightspeed delays

Personally at my own studies the past few years, the environments where you see the most men wearing femme clothes are also the places you saw the most women wearing 'traditional' womens clothes. AKA long skirts or dresses. It's clubs related to cultural things such as dancing, theater or sewing.

The actual question is "How many sell and ship *through* that city". Sure, you might be selling to some company halfway across the world. But it'll go there by a bulk freighter, which gets filled up at a port, and that port is in a city.

Or perhaps population just increases to match. The magic gives 5 times the harvest yield, so every small hamlet can be 5 times as large with reasonable walking distances to the farthest fields, which is good since it means 5 times as many spears against the local Dire Wolf threat

When the historians of centuries future assess 'American civilization,' and I think what I would want them to remember about us - a man on the moon, the internet, the defeat of the confederacy, Norman Borlaug, Norman Borlaug a second time for emphasis.

And we beat the Nazis into the ground.

All of which is to say, the folks longing for the return of old birth-hierarchies are both morally damaged - slavery and the society it sustained were bad - but also grown-ass adults basically running into the public square shouting, "I want to be a pretty pink prince/princess!"

This is exactly how it went the past decade in the Netherlands. The prime minister would always have a certain insulation and innocence and "not know" about things, and blame ministers or subordinates who get replaced. Now he is leading NATO after a decade of ruling

As a Dutchie, the entire situation sounds like a shitshow. You shouldn't have any situation where bikes and cars share a road that needs a traffic light, without there being a separate bike lane or path
