Deeply disappointed to hear that the Israeli Navy illegally stopped the Global Sumud Flotilla 75 miles off the coast of Gaza. This was a non-violent mission to break the IDF’s horrifying siege and deliver food and medicine to those who need it most.

<div class="field field-field-text"><p>Brazil is finalising its submission to join South Africa's genocide case against Israel's actions in Gaza at the International Court of Justice, news agency Reuters has reported. </p>
<p>In its statement issued on Wednesday, foreign ministry of the Brazilian government accused Israel of violations of international law "such as the annexation of territories by force," and it expressed "deep indignation" at violence suffered by the civilian population.<br>
<br>
Spain, Turkey and Colombia have also sought to join the case against Israel among other countries. </p>

<div class="field field-field-text"><p>Ireland is donating £3.45m (€4m) to support Palestinian children to access education, the tanaiste and minister for foreign affairs, Simon Harris announced on Thursday.</p>
<p>The funding package includes £2.59m (€3m) for children’s education, £604,000 (€700,000) to organisations working in the area of human rights, and £259,000 (€300,000) to support public services and vulnerable families.</p>
<p>The funding will be used support the delivery of teacher training, the provision of school materials and the rehabilitation of school buildings.</p>

I don’t think anyone is prepared for what they just did w/ ICE.
This is not a simple budget increase. It is an explosion - making ICE bigger than the FBI, US Bureau of Prisons, DEA,& others combined.
It is setting up to make what’s happening now look like child’s play. And people are disappearing.

The Grenfell documentary is so deeply sad and anger provoking. The worst happened and still, no accountability, no change. What would it take to start holding these companies to account, for them to be held criminally responsible and stopped from causing future tragedies due to their greed?!
