When I lost my dad I listened to the Stone Roses first album intensively. It kinda saved my life. Recently lost my brother too and I listened to it again for the first time in years. Lordy, I had forgotten how good it was... #NorthernSoul

Mr Hilton who enlivened a boring National Curriculum syllabus with silly stories about his days in National Service. I still love history thanks to him although I will NEVER love the Corn Laws 1815-1846
