True, but the cultural consensus is, if we're using TV shows as models, that the Leave it to Beaver, Modern Family, The Waltons, Malcolm in the Middle, The Simpsons, or King of the Hill model is considered more authentically American than a Friends, Cheers, Seinfeld, or Sex and the City model.
