Fascinating walk along Penarth seashore on the lowest tide of the year. Amongst the usual beadlet anemones I found an unusual #seaanemone and would appreciate help with #identification. Could this be a red speckled anemone? @sewbrec.org.uk @thembauk.bsky.social #rockpooling #sealife

Fascinating walk along Penarth seashore on the lowest tide of the year. Amongst the usual beadlet anemones I found an unusual #seaanemone and would appreciate help with #identification. Could this be a red speckled anemone? @sewbrec.org.uk @thembauk.bsky.social #rockpooling #sealife
I finally paid the extra charge to visit the castle at #StMichaelsMount and I'm very glad that I did! Not only does the Chevy Chase dining hall have a fantastic frieze, but the windows are full of #stainedglass. @nationaltrust.org.uk #glitchart #digitalart #reimagined #glitchlab #glitch

A beautiful northern wheatear was the highlight of a pre-rain walk to Lavernock Point. Significantly fewer hirudines than yesterday. Also of note: skylarks over and a few chiffchaff in the hedges. #birdingwales

After only 4 years searching, I finally found my first Purple Hairstreak...only for it to be snatched by a blue tit! 😱 Thankfully, there were more, and I got to enjoy some prolonged views (and take some award-winning photos) of this elusive #butterfly. #ukwildlife @savebutterflies.bsky.social

The solution to a failing business model should not be a move to an #SSSI. Aqua Parks are leveraging biodiversity to extract profit from a community asset. The #Valecouncil have ignored impacts on amenity and character and are complicit in this race to the bottom. #StoptheAquaPark #Cosmeston
