This makes me laugh... when I lived in Ireland, I found out they have the "Taoiseach", who is basically their "prime minister" but ALSO a "President"... who is more like the King/First Lady and presides primarily over ceremonial stuff. Very confusing at first!
—Once president steps down our "prime minister" steps in as acting president (the prime minister is the head of the presidential cabinet and de facto vice president—I know, we mix up the US and British terms, believe me, I'm a translator with a Korean law degree and it drives me up the wall)
