to be fair, we also have a cooling mat and a window perch so suffice it to say, the dog, the cat, and my wallet are safe
my happy lil pom barking with joy at her summer themed cooling mat. the mat is much bigger than she needs but exactly the size she prefers my fluffy content cat, sleeping so soundly she's flopped into a flat state. there is a heating mat peeking out, so you know she can sleep here even in winter

sometimes I think it would be fun to do a DNA test on my cat to see if there are fancy cat breeds in her lineage, but other times it feels cooler to maintain the air of mystery
my cat Taiga snuggles up to me with a thoughtful expression. she's probably thinking about how urgently she needs to be petted right now my chatty Taiga mid-meow. I love this whiny baby Taiga strikes a pose like a model. you can see her green eyes, pink nose, fluffy orange and white belly, and her grey and black leg draped elegantly across. this is a rare moment of grace
