Stumbled across this gorgeous book at the library. Written by Oriane Smith and beautifully illustrated by Alice Gravier, it’s a celebration of small moments. The artwork on the left shows the view from a child’s eyes, while the right panel shows the world from a squirrel’s perspective. #kidlit #PB

“I am Scary” has been a hit in our house- Margot loves the illustrations, the yappy dog, roaring along with the monster, and… I’m pretty sure this book taught her the word “hug” and led to her now intentionally hugging us! 🥺 #kidlit #booksforbabies #boardbook @elisegravel.bsky.social

In honor of the awards being announced today, I’ve been admiring The Last Cuentista by Donna Barba Higuera on my bookshelf. I think this has to be one of my favorite book covers of all time! The artwork, by Raxenne Maniquiz, is stunning. Do you have a #kidlit book cover that you love? 💙 📚
