The studies are already out, peer-reviewed ones by reputable epidemiologist and scientists, even a recent mainstream article which refers to it, not inaptly, as Airborne AIDS. "You have to live your life" has become a thought terminating cliche which gets otherwise wise folks to ignore reason.

Y'all, we effectively have no CDC, no public health, no health care, no *anything* at a high level that would tell us the truth about how damaging this is. A lot of y'all don't trust the government in general, but you just listened when they said ehhhh don't worry about it. It's wild to see tbh

In the 1970s there was something new going around that when they contracted it made most people just feel like they were a little under the weather, but they were fine otherwise and since no one knew what it was folks just went about their business.
