Clean energy is the future we are all moving towards inexerably
🚀 Just launched: The EU’s new Heat Auction is a big step for industrial decarbonisation.

It backs clean process heat — heat pumps, electric boilers, geothermal, solar thermal — with competitive, outcome-based support.

If only there was some kind , oh, I don't know, "universal" health care plan. I wonder if any other industrialized nations have something like that...

If you're like me and had your Small Business Saturday plans thwarted by the snowstorm, be sure to still get out and shop local this holiday season. Yesterday I stopped at Simply Iowa Market & Candle Company in Grundy Center. Thanks to Carrie for setting me up with one of her amazing candles!

The very best evidence that we have a nitrate problem in Iowa is that the Iowa legislature de-funded nitrate monitors across the state. We need to monitor and we need to minimize.

I've always bristled at the animosity between artists and 'the suits', as I know so many smart suits. But the AI hype is driving home a legitimate issue; that many bean-counters have no taste or creative awareness whatsoever, resent artists, and need to be vigorously fought against to protect art.

'Restaurant' comes from the same French word that gave us 'restore.' This is the reason why there is no 'n' in 'restaurateur.'

Farm workers are harvesting green onions by hand in Kern County CA. They bend over for long hours, cutting, bunching, and stacking the onions into crates loaded onto nearby trailers. The work is physically demanding, requiring precision and endurance under the sun. #WeFeedYou

Sand for Iowa.
Iowa needs Sand.
Sand in every county.
Sand country.
Sand Land.
Iowa has the best Sand in the nation.
Governor Sand.
Toppling the Republican trifecta in Iowa is a necessity for anything good to happen here. #iowa

Today marks 50 years since the Individuals with Disabilities Education Act was signed into law, yet the program hasn’t been fully funded in decades.

I introduced the IDEA Full Funding Act to make sure all our kids have access to the quality education they deserve.

Right now , universal
I think we are at the point where there might be enough of a cultural shift in this country where we need to start demanding our politicians work towards universal healthcare for all Americans. We can’t continue to have a system that is a disaster if you lose your job, work part time etc.

We have an insurance system rather than a healthcare system.
Now republicans are making it worse.
