The President promised to lower costs on “day one,” yet a new report revealed that Oregonians have spent nearly $900 more this year compared to last year.

Make it make sense…

I just voted to release the Epstein files.

The American people deserve transparency, and the survivors deserve justice.

Paychecks aren't keeping up with prices.

I'll continue to fight in Congress to lower costs and make life easier for Oregonians. We can't afford Trump's chaotic economic policies.

One of my favorite parts of being your representative is meeting people from all across CD5. Come in and visit us, and leave a pin on our map!

Last week, a petition to release the Epstein files received the number of signatures required to force a vote on the House Floor – that vote is on the docket this week.

Sunlight is the best disinfectant – they need to release the files.

Tax credits in the #AffordableCareAct help tens of thousands of Oregonians afford healthcare, including my constituent David.

If we don’t extend them by the end of the year, David will see his costs go up hundreds of dollars. I won’t leave Oregonians behind – the fight is far from over.

In a study of housing affordability and accessibility, Oregon received an “F” grade – that’s unacceptable.

My bipartisan bill, the Accelerating Home Building Act, will speed up the approval process for housing plans, lowering costs for buyers and renters.

Portland State’s Veterans Resource Center supports veterans and military-affiliated students.

I had the pleasure of meeting with some of them to learn more about the services the center offers, and how best I can support our student veterans in Congress.

The Trump administration is rolling back protections against PFAS and other ‘forever chemicals’ that contaminate our drinking water.

I’m joining my colleagues to demand the @EPA reverse this decision & put protections back in place to make sure everyone has access to safe and clean drinking water.

If Republicans wanted to take action to protect healthcare, they would have.
November 13, 2025 at 11:28 PM
The President promised to lower costs on “day one,” yet Oregonians could see their electricity bills go up by OVER $100 this year.

We need to be investing in solutions that lower costs, not pulling federal funding and canceling clean energy programs.

Last night, Republicans passed a bill that did nothing to lower costs for Americans.

The shutdown might be over, but the fight for healthcare is not. I’ll continue working in Congress to make healthcare affordable and accessible to everyone.
November 13, 2025 at 3:43 PM
The budget we voted on tonight did nothing to protect healthcare for Oregonians. Instead, it’s going to raise costs, putting care out of reach for millions of Americans. I voted no.
November 13, 2025 at 2:21 AM
The bill put forth by Republicans today failed to protect healthcare for millions of Americans and tens of thousands of Oregonians, so I voted no.

Republicans want to make healthcare less affordable. We won’t let that happen.

I joined my colleagues in signing a petition to force a vote to lower costs. I won’t leave Oregonians behind.

I’m back in DC today to vote on the “deal” we were sent by the Senate.

Oregonians deserve a budget that lowers their costs and keeps healthcare affordable – that’s not what this is.

After 40 days of a shutdown, the Senate deal does nothing to address the cuts to or cost of Americans’ healthcare.

That’s unacceptable.

I’ve been ready to work on and vote for a deal that ends the shutdown and makes life better for Oregonians, but that’s just not what this is.

Last night, a final decision confirmed what we’ve known all along: we don’t need or want the President’s troops in Portland.

It’s time for him to follow the law and stop spreading lies about our city.
