I am so tired. I find it deeply deplorable that someone has lost their life to gun violence, as I always do.
On the other hand, I couldn't care less about Charlie Kirk being dead. The man advocated for the proliferation of guns and didn't care about the resulting violence

I'm remembering why I started disengaging from this site and social media in general right now. It conjures a defeatist attitude in me that just isn't helpful. By disconnecting, and being very particular in my news choices, I can still find the hope and anger necessary to do the work.

One positive thing I can say about people like Jim Stewartson is that they unintentionally provide a great guide for identifying frauds and grifters in the wild. This is not the way actual experts talk. If you see this kind of egomaniacal opining, then chances are you're dealing with a crackpot.
