I’ve been trying to read Muir’s Travels in Alaska, but he was so racist! And what’s weird is he’ll describe an amazing scene with Alaska Natives then say something derogatory about them and it’s like, but you literally just described something so cool! How do you not see that?! 🤦🏻‍♀️

I know, I was there last Oct. Although the narration wasn’t as cool, what they’ve done with the museum in the intervening years is amazing! I’m so glad I visited it again.

I will never understand the people that want to drive farther. I want to get out of my car and relax on the boat, not drive further before getting on a boat anyway.

Yes! I have a whole vlog about walking from the park, through Cleary’s old neighborhood and all the way to the real Clickitat street. It was so fun to visit there!
