For me, it started with The Famous Five. I wanted to join them at Kirren Castle.

I started going through the books on my blog bookshelf to find out how many have been banned, and discovered I read more public domain books than anything else. Nonetheless, this account supports reading banned books!

I love coming face to face IRL with characters who lit up my childhood through pages.
The statues of Paddington Bear, Peter Pan (two actually!), and Sherlock Holmes are one of the reasons I love visiting London. And did you know you can find Ramona Quimby in Portland, OR and Alice in NYC?

I spent the day binge listening to Lucy Worsley’s podcast Lady Killers (victorian female true crime stories) and ended my evening learning how to write crime stories from BBC Maestro’s Agatha Christie (a dead female). It’s been a weird day.
Great podcast tho! And great course so far!
