My favorite thing about the next No Kings Day is that it will be in every neighborhood across the country on October 31st, when children everywhere go marauding around in their inflatable unicorn, amphibian and superhero costumes, demanding candy and freedom, justice and due process for all. 🎃

Aside from how utterly deranged it is to even make light of this, he's not mocking some reporter or pundit by calling him "General." Ben Hodges is a real three-star general, he was the commander of the US Army in Europe before he retired. In other words, he's worked with a lot of Germans soldiers.

This may explain why there’s an aggressive response to people who merely post Kirk’s own words. It threatens the existence of the alternate Kirk - the motivational speaker that had been marketed to young kids and white Christian groups through selective quotation & clips.
