So the EHRC didn’t take account of the HRA, the ECHR, the CoE conventions and protocols, UN treaty obligations and other regulations like the Rights of the Child in Scotland or GDPR? And trade obligations, costs to business, inappropriate gender policing and targeting of non feminine women. Never!

When any political party says it wants to exit the ECHR. It has to explain why it wants to take away these rights from every single person in the UK and what is going to be put in its place of equal or better standing. If not we are all worse off.

Sultana needs to stop her idealistic and unreal student behaviour bullshit and keep out of real world politics where people’s lives are at risk day to day.

It drives me mad people in public office not treating all people with respect and dignity as required by the Parliamentary Code of Practice. Racist behaviour by an MP would likely trigger investigation and possible sanctions under both the Code and the Nolan framework.

No you blamed the fans. As you blamed Robert for pointing things were different in the past than they are now which they are because society is different and we have social media and nasty politics from the Middle East driving behaviours, just a simple fact. A religious person should know better.

The @primeministeruk.bsky.social needs to grow up and be an adult. He needs to deal with things as they are now caused by the Labour govt over the last year by their policies not go back to 2016 and a position he has repeatedly promised to make good. Stop blaming others. @conservatives.bsky.social

What a complete economic illiterate fool who doesn’t understand how the movie industry works or where movies are financed from or where profits from watching movies go.

Freedom of speech and freedom of the press? Not in the Farage/Reform world. Hypocrites!

I hope the EHRC considered the existing Code of Practice which any Court would be obliged to take into consideration if the EHRC decided to take legal regulatory action as this is the current Will of Parliament.

We don’t have identity cards in the UK but women are going to be asked to prove their ‘femininity’ to access ‘single sex services’ even for having a pee by showing a birth certificate. A gross violation of their privacy. Labour and the EHRC are rotten to the core @primeministeruk.bsky.social

I want to understand how any organisation can take this stance whilst the current Equality Act Code of Practice which is the will of Parliament and a court needs to take due regard of says what is shown below. Seems to me they are taking extreme legal risk.

In 2010 when the Equality Act was passed we were still in the EU and the Equal Treatment Directive was in force. This case proves that gender reassignment fell then under sex discrimination contradicting the Supreme Court.
July 2, 2025 at 11:13 PM
The Istanbul Convention (IC) could not have been ratified in 2022 if the Equality Act was based on biological sex because the IC is wholly gender based and covers trans women in its definition of women and girls. The UK is now in breach of Articles 4 and 5.
