Why don't they all just wait for the proper scrutiny processes to begin? It doesn't all have to be done within 24 hours!
Lots of Labour MPs asking Mahmood tonight to rule out child detention. She won’t rule it out. That’s because forced removals of families will mean children in detention for periods.

Home Office ruling out deportation of lone minors but the changes will certainly mean more detention of children.

Hearing this from quite a few people in Reform UK-controlled councils. From a local reader:

"There are rumours as in other Reform UK controlled councils that a number of those elected stood to ‘make up numbers’ & never thought they would be elected & now don’t feel able to commit the time required"

I'm quite surprised that Farage has opened himself up to being attacked on Ukraine again.

He's said it all before but he and the party know it damaged them at the end of the election campaign and he had been being fairly careful over the last few weeks.

It’s impossible to convey how bad it is in US. No agency, or programme spared. Administration bulldozing the constitution. Congress supine. Courts too slow. Officials terrified, their life’s work trashed, careers ended, expertise gone. Damage around world. US reputation and partnerships destroyed.
I know all of us who understand what is happening are experiencing mental health challenges because of that.

The only message of comfort I can offer to this community of readers is this: you are correct.

What you think is happening is really happening, and is just as concerning as you think it is.

This hatred was gradually developed by humans. From ideas, words, stereotypes & prejudice through legal exclusion, dehumanization & escalating violence... to systematic and industrial murder.
