We cannot accept a future where rural areas are treated as an afterthought - I was proud to submit a 4,000-strong petition to parliament calling for inpatient beds to be retained at the Ellen Badger in Shipston-on-Stour.

I will be voting in favour of #CANBill which would put the UK on course to meet its international climate and nature targets.
The Bill represents our best chance of protecting our natural environment and building the clean-powered industries of the future. 🌍

We can't let British democracy turn into a plaything for overseas billionaires with short attention spans.

At PMQs, I urged the Prime Minister to work with us to make sure power always sits with the voters, not wealthy foreign oligarchs.

The climate-nature crisis is the greatest, long-term, global challenge we face. But we now need a joined-up plan to tackle the root causes of this intertwined crisis. I'll be proud to vote to progress the #CANBill on 24 January at its Second Reading.

The SEND system is failing local families here in Stratford on Avon, after years of neglect by the Conservatives nationally and locally.

I spoke about the problems families faced with home-to-school transport 👇

I had the pleasure to meet with young people in Parliament and hear about what good mental health services look like.
We need mental health hubs in every school and more support and access to treatment when we need it. Waiting lists are too long.

MPs have backed Sarah Olney’s bill on proportional representation. This is a historic moment in the campaign for a fairer voting system.

Today, as we have done for a century, Liberal Democrats are leading the fight for fair votes and making sure that no one can be ignored in our democracy.

As the most local form of government district councils are uniquely placed to invest in their communities and deliver in their areas, my question to the minister called for recognition of this👇

Our fantastic sports clubs such as @ShipstonRugby and @stratfordsport provide great youth activities.

Extreme weather events are only becoming more common, and sports clubs are losing access to their facilities as a result.

My question to the minister on this issue 👇👇👇

These findings show just how much carers contribute to our society, but also how hard it is for carers to get the support they need.

The government now needs to fully recognise the critical role carers play and end the years of neglect under the Conservatives.
