Well, I don’t live in Calgary but I’m there often enough, and it seems like you could move some cops off the harassing-homeless-people beat and into school zones and it would help, at least.

Ideally we’d get everyone driving smaller vehicles and lower speeds…but for now, the speed limit thing is a lot easier to accomplish.

I’m totally in favour of lowering speed limits! I’ve spent a lot of time driving and nearly all my close calls were due to speeding (sometimes by me, but usually by others).

They’re not idiots. They know exactly what they’re doing.
