Here it comes then. When Rachel said ‘no stand alone wealth tax’ at conference I felt that left wriggle room - it’s crying out to be done, we have enormous numbers of people in poverty and a tax system that takes more from them as a % than from people with an awful lot of money.

It would certainly suit Rupert Lowe for the flags to be taken down. It then means he can go on social media and get more attention.

Could he be behind them being taken down?

@mrjamesob.bsky.social Have had to turn your show off for the first time as listening to this far right rally is chilling. Will be back for when you analyse.

The Bear calls out the denial on all political sides.
Britain has never stood alone
From Empire to the NHS, this country has always relied on outsiders. The real crisis isn’t migration – it’s dishonesty

Schrödinger's refugee:

Get them out the hotels but don’t house them.

They’re an NHS burden but also replacing GPs.

They’re taking tax money but also our jobs.

They’re illegal, but there’s no safe routes.

FYI: The issue isn’t refugees, it’s 14 yrs of decline caused by the Tories and Farage.

Are small boat migrants really 24x more likely to be in prison? Not according to the facts.

The Conservative figure is based on flawed, outdated, and mismatched data.

Stephen McNair analyses it
A crime wave in small boats: why worry about facts?
Conservatives claim that small boat arrivals are 24 times more likely to be in prison than the average British citizen. Are they?

#itfc has the squad that could bounce back to the premier league. But the challenge is adding the right players who could do well in the prem without undermining the chances of promotion. That and having multiple attacking midfielders but very few who can play in the pivot
