Just realised I have 3 potential future ones with happy endings written over the last couple of years. Maybe I'm getting more merciful as I get older

That would be what I'd expect. Given there's only 137 couples it's basically miles of tents and shanty towns with about 3 blocks of flats and 5 streets of houses

Lol I swear I must have done a happyish ending once....errr.... abandoned factory...technically?

Love it! Get serious Jhonen Vasquez vibes from it. That's definitely the style I'd want if I ever made it as an animated short

Lol cheers. Thank Paul Bradley for it, it was going to stay in the junk drawer until he asked me to read it live and I realised it was good

4 - The final one of this series called "The Lost Finale of Johnny and Janey" feels very suited to this current trend in analogue horror, kinda like late night with the devil. I've been playing around with potential structure for a feature script.

3 - Simon Fisher-Becker (RIP) as Father Christmas in the Advent Calendar - I wanted the speech to feel like "and all the world will be your enemy" from Watership Down and he nailed it.
Also Ninette Finch and Paul M Bradley in Sudden Death - Paul breaks your heart and Ninette is adorable.

2 - It's been a learning curve having to write dialogue for someone to interpret, getting the tone right and then figure out how I want to make it sound (filtering, reverb etc) and of course I couldn't have done it at all without my producer Luke Allen.

Thank you :) great questions

1 - Sudden Death - I wrote it just after my cat died and it means a lot to me. Most of the thoughts George has while digging the grave were things that occurred to me while digging her grave in the back garden.

💓 I love these so much

It's had a copyright claim - I've had to appeal. They're saying the content matched some audiobook I've never heard of that shares the title and literally nothing else

Thanks for posting this :) I've actually finally got a new series almost finished. They should start going up soon

I grew up on the metroid games so yes. Took me a while to get into it but once I was in, I lived there for about 25 hours of gameplay
