Finally got around to watching the Monkey - it's bloody brilliant. I thought Osgood Perkins would be a weird fit for it but his slow and awkward style really suits it. It has this peep show sigh of "life is a crushing disappointment" running underneath it all.

Checked back in on twitter and am disappointed that a lot of people I otherwise respect are still tweeting. Feeding a billionaire's AI robot. Sure there's no ethical consumption under capitalism but you're not a consumer on twitter. This is a product that consumes YOU.

Angel is such a weird show. It starts out as half supernatural cop show, half episodes of Buffy that she's not in, then from season 2 it basically becomes an ongoing vampire soap opera about various love triangles

Watching the Osbournes for the first time in years. It's very far removed from what reality TV is nowadays. The editing is so much tighter. It's more like an improvised sitcom. It also helps that Ozzy was basically a puppy in man form
