Swallows are really fast.
A photo from last week when I managed to capture some swallows swooping and diving over water. I found it very hard to keep them in the frame as they are so amazingly fast.

Last Nights Moon
We had one of those clear nights here when the moon was high overhead instead of near the horizon where the atmosphere tend to interfere. I think the 2x tc does a much better job than I was expecting.

The day started off cloudy but I decided to try and get some photography in anyway. I was in forest by the Ottawa river and Island Park when I heard a commotion. The critters were upset because there was an owl, and here it is.

Deep snow everywhere made the trek tough but it was worth it on such a sunny day, and there were a few birds too. It snowed about (30cm) the day before.
