Andrew Norfolk is the former Times journalist whose work brought the grooming gang scandal to public attention...
Make no mistake. Every politician, pundit & online grifter amplifying Musk's dangerous lies will be aware of this intervention by now. Make no mistake, they are choosing to mislead the public & politicise the suffering of victims in the shameful pursuit of political advantage, attention & clicks.

After that performance by #WestHam last night, I’m actually not dreading the Brighton game on Saturday.

Mad Lebukchen last weekend. Was a tad of an upgrade I’m afraid to say. Ground almond and extra puff was a game changer
What we really needed to get us through the day – or possibly the next four years – was #ComfortFood . And #gingerbread, a family favourite, is the most comforting of all cakes.

Clare Sansom gives the recipe, aided by two anonymous elves. eastangliabylines.co.uk/lifestyle/mo...
More gingerbread this Christmas – the perfect comfort recipe
For many, gingerbread and Christmas are synonymous – the ginger is warming and comforting, be it in a sweet gingerbread cake or cookies

Boris Johnson promised farmers that “subsidies would stay 100% guaranteed”.

The National Farmers’ Union council was overwhelmingly in support of ‘Remain’, but decided not to campaign, as it would upset some of their larger farmers who were cheering Brexit.
What happened to those post-Brexit farm subsidies?
We need a discussion about UK food and farming, our resilience to external and self-inflicted events, and where the money is going

Was trying to find a French mustard to go with my Onglet steak at the weekend. Failed miserably and ended up with this underwhelming Tarragon mustard. Tell me, what’s your favourite French mustard and where can I get it? #FrenchMustatd

The more this place reminds me of why I liked social media so much the more I realise that I stopped doing so a long time ago. It’s extraordinary what happened. The volume & violence of posts from accounts you had never shown the slightest interest in just exploded. It *must* have been deliberate.
