Not saying it wouldn't change the minds of some individuals around the margins, and if the media all decided to hype something nonstop then it actually would change things, but these monsters commit worse atrocities all the time and no one cares.

it would be depressing but honestly I feel too cynical and jaded for that to get to me, when there's so much else to be sorrowful about.

I’m not saying it didn’t happen, I’m just saying there’s not a lot of hard proof about Alderaan—witnesses, footage, perpetrators. It’s a big number…how do we know it’s accurate? Then the Death Star conveniently blows up, destroying all evidence? Just seems like a lot of unverifiable coincidences.

I mean I'm pro graffiti and shooting guns off every once in a while to keep prices down, but let's also get sidewalks and bus service.
