There have been 12 players to hit 3+ HR in a Postseason game.

There have been 16 pitchers to have a Postseason game with 6+ IP, 2 hits or fewer, 10+ K, and 0 runs allowed.

Only one did both on the same night.

Assuming all these numbers are correct, Raleigh's ball went 70 feet shallower than typical ball hit at this velo/trajectory, while Vlad's went 90 feet deeper. Topspin and backspin, man.

If you model swings as having a constant jerk you can get around having to use a spline fit for bat speed vs intercept point. Useful because splines and GPs take way longer to fit with batter random effects

This is outstanding, especially the comparison tool.

Stanek's four-seam w/ & w/o an additional ~2 inch of break. Note how long after release it takes for the difference to be noticeable. Good illustration of why it takes a while to lock in on a pitcher having more ride than expected.

Tarik Skubal is on pace to be the first pitcher to finish a season leading the league in both K/9 and BB/9. Only 7 pitchers since integration have even finished top 3 in both K/9 and BB/9 - Skubal is having a truly dominant season.
