This is soooo great and so overdue. I hope the licenses go to people doing interesting international food and not just more hot dogs and pretzels. Congrats @streetvendorproj.bsky.social! gothamist.com/news/thousan...
Thousands more NYC street vendors will be able to operate legally under bill set to pass
The mayor hasn’t said whether he supports the measure, but the City Council says the bill would automatically become law after 30 days if he doesn’t act.

New Yorkers, want to do something joyful and delicious and contributing (in a small way) to NYC migrants' livelihoods?

Go eat delicious food in Corona Plaza, 103d and Roosevelt Ave in Queens. Yesterday (a Sunday) we had: elote, quesadillas flor de calabasa, birria tacos, horchata.

The NYPD is criminalizing cyclists and deliveristas. It is discriminatory, unfair, and just plain wrong. I rallied with @maketheroadny.bsky.social @workersjusticep.bsky.social @streetvendorproj.bsky.social @transalt.org to send a clear message to Adams and Tisch: this does not make anyone safer.
