We still remember the first time detecting the proteins of SARS-2003 in the CNS of SARS Survivors who had died of early onset and rapidly declining Alzheimer's & Parkinson's. We opted to verify "as a control" patients who'd died regularly of Alzheimer's and found HCoV-OC43's envelope protein.
