Notice that MAGA’s reaction to last night’s brutal losses is NOT “hey let’s try to win the will of the voters with good policy.” It’s, let’s end the filibuster, let’s end mail-in voting, all ideas for winning without really CONVINCING anyone to vote for them

Tonight, California made it clear: we’re taking back our voice and democracy.

Here’s to proof that when we act together, we win.

What happened here in California tonight is a victory for the people of this country.

Donald Trump’s attempts to rig the midterm elections are backfiring.

His attempts to silence you are backfiring.

His entire presidency is backfiring.

Everyone should pay careful attention to the Maine voter ID ballot measure (Prop 1). It is on track to lose -- thereby proving that the GOP claims that voter ID laws are overwhelmingly popular is a lie. Perhaps now the legacy media will stop repeating that nonsense.

Congratulations to all the Democratic candidates who won tonight. It’s a reminder that when we come together around strong, forward-looking leaders who care about the issues that matter, we can win. We’ve still got plenty of work to do, but the future looks a little bit brighter.
